We went for our first industrial visit (don’t misunderstand, it’s only a tour) in the second semester to visit the Hinduja’s Ashok Leyland, Hosur. It was really a nice trip and this trip gave us some memorable moments.
Somebody experienced the most beautiful moments in his life and somebody found his beloved. We were happy and enjoyed like there is no tomorrow. Our route ended in Bangalore. The boys marched to Brigade road in search of some passion flowers and the girls went off for some window shopping .There we found a girl, amidst 27 classmates, wandering alone in the city streets. The one with thick specs gave her a company (we don’t know how she felt about the company). After all the adventures in Bangalore, the back seats of our bus became a space for some drinking exercise.
We made two good expeditions –the first was to IMK, Trivandrum and hats off, we returned with the runners up trophy. The second was for the XAMI fest but this time, we didn’t make it.
And also we forgot to mention about our ragging season with juniors. Separate ragging sessions were arranged in hostels and the classes. Students were subjected to severe questioning from our ‘University rank holders’.
The third semester came, we were divided due to the specialization, two of us took Marketing and Finance while the local boy’s choice was marketing and HR.The Shrewd father was back, this time with HR. His Ethics classes were very live with the opinion polls over very controversial subjects which helped to find some hidden characters in somebody.
Ah, you won’t remember, the famous question asked by our other HR teacher-‘What is HR is?’ There was a sleeping artist; in fact a good painter who made the so called modern arts while sleeping in the HR classes, strangely the canvas was his pants.
